CollectiveCrunch selected as first and only firm into ESA BIC Finland programme. BICs are Business Innovation Centers across Europe that encourage and support innovation and start-ups in the space ecosystem of the European Space Agency.
The programme involves a grant of €50 000 and technical and business support from within the ESA BIC’s network of experts. Our goal is to adopt satellite data into our platform. There are two advantages in using satellite data for us: additional data sets make our predictions more accurate, and we can scale our solutions more easily across countries and regions.
The Finnish ESA BIC programme was started in late 2017 and in April 2018 the first selection of participants took place. We are proud and excited to have made it into the programme as the only successful applicant for this first cycle.
It’s official, we’re space cadets now 🙂
